Lloyd James Brannon dies at age 67

Lloyd James Brannon, age 67, of Chesterton, Ind., passed away on November 1, 2013.

He was born August 23, 1946 to James and Thelma (Newcomb) Brannon, both of whom preceded him in death.

Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Rosemary (Grabos) Brannon of Chesterton, Ind.; daughter, Judy (Karl) Nelson of Chesterton; grandchildren, Kayla (Douglas) Hale, Clarissa Thomas and Zoe Thomas; brother, Allen (Sue) Brannon of Portage, Ind.; sisters, Sheila (Michael) Chatwell of Wanatah, Ind., and Linda Brannon of Valparaiso, Ind., along with several nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. After retiring from the service, he worked and retired from Inland Steel. He liked to fish and loved maintaining his garden.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind. A time of family sharing will begin at 6:00 p.m.
