William M. “Jim” Williams, age 83 of Chesterton passed away Sunday, July 15,
2012 at Franciscan St. Anthony Health Center, Michigan City, Ind.
He was born on December 9, 1928, to W.C. and Anna Mae Eddie Williams, both
of whom preceded him in death.
On August 26, 1950, he married Barbara Brandt Williams, who survives in
Chesterton.
Also surviving are his children Mark Williams and Nancy Williams, of
Chesterton, Karen (Jeffery) Leonard of Porter, Sarah (Mike) Shepperson of
Michigan City, Ind., Lisa Jageman of LaPorte, Ind., and Paul (Amy) Williams
of Porter.
Also, grandchildren Kara, Emily, Ryan, Molly, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Matthew,
Myles, Jake, Josh, Zackary, Abby and Melissa; five great-grandchildren and
sister, Sue (Joseph) Keyes of Traverse, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Auburn, Marietta and Douglas.
He was a member of Augsburg Evangelical Church. Jim was a member of the
Moose Lodge 1623 and was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

Porter, Ind., with Pastor Erik Bernth officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 4 until 8
p.m. for a memorial visitation at the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd
St., Chesterton, Ind.
Memorial donations may be given in Jim’s name to Augsburg Evangelical
Lutheran Church or the donor’s choice.
