Vada E. Fieffer, age 90, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at her home in Shelby, Ohio.

She was born August 20, 1922 to Willie and Anna (Ledingham) Mabry, both of whom preceded her in death.

Vada was married on May 9, 1966 in Porter, Ind., to Theodore Fieffer, who preceded her in death in 1994.

Vada is survived by her sons, Derlin (Pauline) Kegley of Shelby, Ohio and Garlan (Judy) Fraley of Jackson Township, Ind.; daughters, Drenda Parsons of New Carlisle, Ind., and Brenda (Gene) Krosschell of Morris, Minn.; sister, Alvina (Gerald) McKay of Shelby, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Roscoe Kegley; three brothers; three sisters and one grandchild.

Vada was born in White Lake, Wisc., moving to Kentucky as a child. She later lived in Indiana and eventually moved to Ohio in 1994.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 10, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind.

A graveside service will take place immediately following at McCool Cemetery, Portage, Ind.
