Stephen E. Gough Sr., age 62, of Pines, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2012 at Porter Hospital Valparaiso Campus.

He was born on July 17, 1950 to Roy and Annie Belle Lee Gough, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children Kelly Gough and Amanda Gough of Chesterton, siblings James Leroy (Helen) Gough of West Palm Beach, Florida, Kenneth Wayne (Sarah) Gough of Tennessee and Annie Ruth Hinson of Little Rock, South Carolina and very dear friend Marsha Gough of Chesterton.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Bradley Gough.

Steve was an avid softball player and bowler. He was a member of Union 6787 and worked 43 years at Bethlehem Steel. He was a loving father who had a big, caring heart.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. at the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd Street, Chesterton, Ind. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. with Pastor Cathy Allison officiating.

Memorial donations may be given in Steve’s name to the American Cancer Society.
