Ronald E. Yager, age 65 of Chesterton, Ind., passed away Saturday, December
22, 2012.
He was born August 1, 1947 in Omaha, Neb., to Raleigh and Claris (King)
Yager, both of whom preceded him in death.
Ronald is survived by his daughters; Sherry Yager and Pam (Joseph) Royko,
both of Valparaiso, Ind.; grandchildren; Gabriella and Zachary Royko;
sisters; Linda Barnes of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Michelle (Adam) Yager-French
of Carmel, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Linda (Hisey) Yager.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at
Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind., with Pastor
Frederick Hoover officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery,
Portage, Ind.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service
at noon at the funeral home.
