Roger D. Kamaski, age 56 of Porter, Ind., passed away Wednesday, June 6,
2012 at Life Care Center Valparaiso.
He was born November 27, 1955, in Gary, Ind., to Joseph and Lorene Gland
Kamaski.
He is survived by his mother Lorene Kamaski, of Porter, a brother Robert
(Cindy) Kamaski, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, a sister Susan (Pete) Wiggins of
Lowell, Michigan, and niece Kimberly Kamaski of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Roger was preceded in death by his father Joseph Kamaski.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Roger enjoyed communicating with his diabetic pen pals. He loved 50’s and
60’s music and baseball, especially the White Sox. He had a great interest
in baseball stadiums, how they were built, their added features and reading
their blue prints.
On Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. there will be a mass of Christian
Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd., Chesterton, Ind.,
with Father James Meade officiating. Burial will be at the Chesterton
Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetic Association in Roger’s
memory.
