Cassandra D. (Sandi) Nomanson, age 64, of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away
Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Regency Hospital in Portage.
She was born October 10, 1947 in Evanston, Ill., to William C. and Cassie R.
(Empfield) Orr.
On January 29, 1966 in Lowell, Ind., she married Gareth Nomanson who
survives.
Cassandra is also survived by her children Timothy (Cynthia) Nomanson of
Valparaiso, Carrie Nomanson of Greenwood, Ind., Cassie (Steven)
Nomanson-Krmpotic of Crown Point, Ind., Cristen (Scott) Musch of
Merrillville, Ind., Sarah (Ian) McDowell of California, her nine
grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Jacob, Cassandra, Leia, Zachary, Rachel,
Christopher and Jackson, her brothers Joseph (Janet) Orr of Valparaiso,
Ind., Thomas (Victoria) Orr of Florida and her sister Dorothy (Jesus)
Sanchez-Orr of Spain.
Also surviving her are two sister-in-laws Janet Nomanson and Margaret Love
and her brother-in-law Philip Nomanson all of Lowell, Ind., 11 nieces and
nephews.
Private services with immediate family are being held for Sandi. There will
be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of her to the charity of
donor’s choice.
The Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso is in charge of arrangements.
