Valparaiso resident Margit Jensen passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012. She was 77.

Born August 8, 1934 in Copenhagen, Denmark, she was a retired media specialist for the Duneland School Corporation.

She is survived by son Gregory Dunivan and daughters Karen Dunivan and Kirsten Ibrahim; and grandsons Josva Ibrahim and Jackson Blandchard. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church, 1507 Glendale Blvd. Memorials may be made in her name to either Yost Elementary School Media Center, Save the Dunes, or the National Arthritis Foundation.
