Lawrence T. Lavelle, age 87 of Chesterton, passed away Thursday, November 1,
2012 at Whispering Pines Health Care, Valparaiso, Ind.
He was born October 31, 1925 in Harrisburg, Penn., the son of Lawrence W.
and Helen (Roche) Lavelle.
On July 7, 1950 in Canada, Larry married Lucille Thibault who preceded him
in death.
He is survived by four children, Lynn (Richard) Hoblitzel, Karen (Bill)
Davis, Diane Branenburg, and Michelle Coslet; 11 grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
Larry was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, had worked at the American Bridge
Company, and was a 60 year member of the Local 395 Iron Workers.
Cremation will take place at Angelcrest Crematory with private family
services.
