Justin Michael Potts, age 32, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Wednesday,
January 11, 2012 at his home.
Justin was born November 6, 1979 in Valparaiso, to Richard and Pamela
(Handley) Potts, who survive in Valparaiso.
Justin is also survived by his girlfriend, Nicole Garcia of Chicago, Ill.;
grandfather, Jerry Handley of Chesterton; brothers, Adam Potts of Westville
and Evan (Mellissa) Potts of Kingsford Heights; niece, Kaylee Jo and one
nephew on the way, Devan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judith Handley and
paternal grandparents, Lucille and Robert Potts Sr.
Justin was a 1999 graduate of Valparaiso High School. He attended the
Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago and worked as a Chef at Branch
27 in Chicago.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.
at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, Ind., with
Chaplain Craig Forwalter officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00
p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following services.
