Janet Katherine Eder, age 87, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 in Delta, Colorado.

She was born January 8, 1925 in New Port, Michigan to Carl N. and Judy (Bailey) Raymond, both of whom preceded her in death.

Janet was married on June 11, 1949 in Monroe, Mich., to Aaron Eder, who also preceded her in death.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Diann Correll of Colorado; and grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Scott Bush.

Janet was a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the St. Patrick’s Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Retired Persons Volunteer Program at the Senior Citizen’s Club.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Valparaiso, Ind., with Father Paul Quanz officiating. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton, Ind.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN.
