F. Robert Kellstrom, age 76 of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his home.

He was born on March 2, 1936 in Gary, Ind., to Floyd Walter and Bernice Beatty Kellstrom, both of whom preceded him in death.

Bob is survived by his children Laura (Gene) McEnery of Geneva, Ill., Mary (David) Woodson of Michigan City, Ind., and Mike (Jenni) Kellstrom of Chesterton, and his grandchildren Madeline, Sam and Geno McEnery, Abigail Woodson and Michael and Reese Kellstrom of Chesterton.

He is also survived by his nephews Rick Parker (late Sandy) of Schererville, Ind., and Paul (Kathy) of Kissimmee, Fla., and dear friend Mary Kay Krebs Kellstrom.

He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Marilyn and Jack Parker.

Bob was employed by Landmark Outdoor Advertising as a Controller. When in college he played football for the University of Michigan. He served our country in the Army Security Agency. He enjoyed dancing, golfing and gardening. Bob was a Gold Life Master Bridge player.

There will be a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012, at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service at the funeral home.
