Dr. George John Grcevich, age 63 of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 15, 2012.

He was born December 16, 1948 in East Chicago, Indiana.

George is survived by his loving wife Suzy, daughter Christine, and son George W.

He is also survived by his mother Helen Grcevich, of St. John, Ind.; his father and mother-in-law James and Patricia Williams, of Highland, Ind., sisters Cathy (Jack) May of Highland, Ind., and Marian (Rob) Robertson of St. John, Ind.; brother Mark (Judi) Grcevich of Lowell, Ind., sister-in-law Nancy (Dennis) Lewis of Highland, Ind., brother-in-law Jim (Pam) Williams of St. Charles, Ill., and multiple loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father George John Grcevich.

George graduated from Wabash College and continued his education at Indiana University School of Medicine. He furthered his medical studies by completing a fellowship at Rush Medical Center specializing in Cardiology. In his free time George enjoyed golf and the great outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and cooking for his family and friends.

At George's request, private family services were held at home.
