Chris C. Danielson, age 55 of Burns Harbor, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Gary, August 1, 1956, to Charles Raymond Danielson and Billie Lou Choisser Danielson Mitchell.

Chris is survived by his mother and step-father Billie Lou and Franklin D. Mitchell, of Celestine, Ind.; his children Karen (Jake) Minix of Rochester, Ind., Billie Jean (Chris) Lineberry of Fowler, Ind. and Chris (Shannon) Danielson, of North Judson, Ind.; seven grandchildren; his sisters Cheryl (Skyler) Arney, of Burns Harbor, and Radine (Donald) Oden, of Eva, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Danielson, brother James Danielson and sister Michelle Singer.

Chris was a graduate of Chesterton High School, a member of the Chesterton Moose Lodge 1623 and a loader operator at the mill. His favorite hobbies were woodworking, hunting and fishing. He loved his family.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd. St., Chesterton, with Pastor Lorrayne Rizer officiating.

Burial will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2012, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Chesterton Moose Lodge 1623.
