Amelia T. Condeni, age 88 of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012
at the Waters of Duneland.
She was born January 31, 1924 in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to Sam and Rose
Puglise Lanzino, both of whom preceded her in death.
In Vandergrift, Penn., on February 16, 1946, she married Anthony M. Condeni,
who survives in Chesterton.
Also surviving are her children Anthony S. (Karen) Condeni of Findley, Ohio;
Angela (William) Mabin of Marshall, Michigan; Mark Condeni of LaPorte, Ind.,
and Rose (Dr. Jerry) Back of Charleston, S.C.; six grandchildren and in-laws
Vincent Condeni of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Aiello of Vandergrift,
Pennsylvania and Amelia Juzian of Venice, Florida.
Amelia was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at
11:00 a.m., from St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet, Chesterton,
Ind., with Father James Meade officiating. Burial will be at Graceland
Cemetery, Valparaiso, Ind.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 4:00-8:00
p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m. from the White-Love Funeral
Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton.
Memorials may take the form of Masses in Amelia’s memory.
