Alan Self passed away May 27, 2012 in Lebanon, Tennessee, where he lived for many years.

He graduated from Chesterton High School and worked as a mechanic at Dill Oldsmobile.

Survivors include his mother Lois Hearn, and siblings Angela Rippe, Althea Long, Anita Webb, Sherry Gilbert, Norman Self, Bill Self, Michelle Welton, Lisa Robinson, Darren Self and Sara Long.

He was preceded in death by father Charles Ray Self and brother Tony Self.

A Memorial Service was held in his home church, Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Lebanon, Tenn. Alan will be loved and missed by both his families, the one in Tennessee and here in Indiana.

Arrangments were handled by Sellars Funeral Home, 313 W. Baddour Pkwy., Lebanon, Tenn.
