Timothy John Yocum, age 34 of Porter, Ind., passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 at his home.

He was born December 15, 1976 in Gary, Indiana.

Timothy was married to Carrie A. (Zeck) Yocum, who survives of Porter.

He is also survived by his mother, Cathy Steele of Chesterton; step daughter, Miranda Lund of Porter; brother J.R. (Nicole) Steele of Crown Point; niece, Destiny Konieczny; nephew, Jordan Steele; aunt, Nancy Hays; uncle, Butch Yocum and several cousins and other loving friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at South Haven Church of the Nazarene, 621 N. 450 W., Valparaiso, Ind., with Rev. Oneal Stover officiating.

Cremation will be performed by Heritage Crematory, Portage, Ind.
