Eda B. Clark, age 88 of Chesterton, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011
at the VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso.
She was born on July 27, 1923 in Gary, Ind., to L.H. and Joanna (Lambert)
Pollock, both of whom preceded her in death.
On August 25, 1947 she married Ben Clark who preceded her in death in 1987.
Eda is survived by her sons David Clark of Rochester, Ind., Richard Clark
and Donald Clark both of Chesterton, her grandchildren, David (Jo) Clark,
Christina (Gary) Baldwin, Kevin (Kelly) Clark and Elizabeth Clark and six
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Robert Pollock and Marilyn
Frankie-Poltz.
Eda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Chesterton where
she was a member of the choir and the Mary Rachel Circle. She was also a
member of the Order of Eastern Star Valparaiso Chapter and Amarath.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the
White-Love Funeral Home 525 South 2nd St. Chesterton, with Pastor Chris
Newman-Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at the Chesterton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 4:00-8:00
p.m. at the funeral home.
