Melvin R. Wroblewski of Rockford, Ill. passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
He was 34.
He was born January 2, 1977 in Chicago to Barry and Jeannette (Bigger)
Wroblewski. Melvin had been a truck driver and motorcycle enthusiast with a
flare for heavy bass music. The loss of his mother, Jeannette Studier, in
January of 2010 haunted his soul.
He is survived by his father, Barry (Alicia) Wroblewski of Chesterton;
step-mother Kathy Wroblewski of Chesterton; children Jaysen, Emi and Tesla
Wroblewski of Rockford and James Wroblewski of Indianapolis; sisters Shannon
(husband Joseph) Carrasco of Portage and Tina Fortisi of Belvidere, Ill.;
brothers Steven and Bryan Wroblewski of Chesterton; and stepbrother and
stepsisters Ashley (Omar) Vargas of Iowa, Nolan (Lacey) Laughlin of Hawaii,
and Alison Larimore of Chesterton; and many more family and friends.
Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held Saturday from noon
to 2 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso with a
memorial service beginning at 2 p.m.
