Lawrence Dean Campbell, Sr., 60, of Chesterton, formerly of Kouts, passed
away Thursday, April 28, 2011.
He was born January 4, 1951 in Hammond to Charles and Marian (Martin)
Campbell and graduated from Calumet High School in 1969.
Larry had served as a truck driver with Inland Steel for over 30 years,
retiring in 2009. He will be fondly remembered as a loving family man and
dedicated provider.
On April 15, 1978 he married Agnes Marie Winkler who preceded him in death
in 2007. Survivors include their children Lawrence Dean Campbell, Jr. and
Roxanna Marie Campbell both of Chesterton; sister, Evelyn Johnson of Cedar
Lake and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jimmy and John
Campbell and sister, Irma Philbin.
Following cremation a memorial visitation will be held Saturday from 1- 3
p.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 Indiana Ave., Kouts with service beginning
