Beroll O. “Bob” Berry of Liberty Township passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Valparaiso. He was 75.

Born Jan. 16, 1936 in Gary, he was the son of Robert Burdette and Katherine (Knoll) Berry. He was a retired Quality Control Engineer from NIPSCO who loved electrical gadgets and modern technology. He enjoyed his computer and breeding standard poodles with his wife for over 20 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth “Fran” Berry of Valparaiso; three children, Marcie (husband James) Jordan of Valparaiso, Raymond (wife Young-I) Berry of Merrillville and Deborah “Debbie” Berry of Portage; four grandchildren, Jim (Elisha Cusson) Jordan, Brandon (Dora Cantu) Jordan and Christopher (Rebecca Hostetter) Jordan, all of Portage, and Kimberly Berry of Merrillville; and four great grandchildren, Bailey, Maycie, Landon, and Gianna.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 16 at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage with Pastor Deb Rouselle officiating. Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
