Andrea J. Turner, age 32 of Chesterton, passed away Monday. October 17, 2011
in Chesterton.
Annie was born March 4, 1979 in Valparaiso, Ind., to Robert Ronco who
preceded her in death and Patsy Mounce Griffith who survives in West
Paducah, Kentucky with Annie’s step father Evert “Wayne” Griffith.
Annie is survived by her three children Alyssa Ronco, Joshua Ronco and Seth
Turner, all of Chesterton.
Her husband, Chester Turner of Portage, survives, as do two sisters April
Spurrier of Omer, Michigan, Alicia (John) Kingsley of West Paducah, Kentucky
and maternal grandmother Wilma Heflin and step-grandfather Leonard Heflin of
Metropolis, Ill.
Annie also has a step-daughter Valeree (Kevin) Lewis of Valparaiso, a
step-sister Holly Boomsma of Chesterton and sister-in-law Suzanne Augustyn,
of Portage, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins.
Annie worked for Dr. Aalaei in Merrillville in the billing department of
Advanced Pain Management. She enjoyed furthering her education, spending
time with her children, going on bike rides or doing crafts, whatever their
pleasure was.
Photography was her love, she would stand outside in a storm to get the
perfect picture of lightning. Sketching was another hobby. Annie was
out-going, friendly and didn’t know a stranger.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday October
22, 2011 from the White-Love Funeral Home 525 S. 2nd St. Chesterton. The
funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. the same day.
