Services set for Patsy Ferguson

Patricia Marie “Patsy” Ferguson, 47, of Valparaiso, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010.

She was born on June 1, 1963, in East Chicago, the daughter of Alexander Knaver and Patricia J. Zima.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Patricia and John Woynaroski of Chesterton; a son, James P. Ferguson of Ottowa, Kan.; a daughter, Sherry L. Ferguson of Valparaiso; sisters Alexandria Prichard of McMinnville, Oreg., and Michele (Keith) Saulsgiver of Burns Harbor; a step-sister, Tricia (Nick) Tilden of Porter; a step-brother, John (Ashlee) Woynaroski of Waynesboro, Ga.; uncles Joseph Knaver of Portage and Robert (Hedi) Zima of Schererville; and many nieces and nephews.

Patsy graduated from Chesterton High School, Class of 1981, and worked for Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.

Funeral services, Father Alphonse Skerl officiating, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.

Visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of service at 4 p.m. and following the service until 7:00 p.m.. Cremation will be handled through Heritage Crematory in Portage.
