Services set for Edith K. Delliquadri

Valparaiso resident Edith K. Delliquadri, 93, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Rita) Delliquadri and Judith Cullen; four grandchildren, Jeff Delliquadri, Kristen (Rob) Saler, Laura Cullen and Jim (Linda) Cullen; great-grandchildren, Trent Delliquadri and Tyler And Kara Zych; two sisters: Anne (Louie) Mastroiani and Kathryn Emanuele; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; sisters, Evelyn (Louie) Delliquadri, Louise (Bob) Serpe, and Carmella Scianni; and brother, William (Eleanor) Scianni.

Edith was member of St. Francis de Sales in Chicago and St. Joseph Church in Dyer, and was most recently associated with St. Paul’s Church in Valparaiso. She retired from Jewel Foods after 25 years of service and was an active member of the Women of the Loyal Order of Moose. In her retirement she actively participated with the Senior Women’s Group of St. Joseph Church.

Funeral services, Father Michael Hoffman officiating, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave. in Munster. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Ill, (219) 836-5000.

Visitation is scheduled for 11 a.m. to the time of service on Wednesday.

Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice of Valparaiso in her memory
