Kokomo resident Laurie Cox, formerly of Chesterton and Michigan City, passed
away, Friday, May 28, 2010 in Indianapolis. She was 36.
Born August 31, 1973 in Hammond, Ind., she was the daughter of Joseph R. and
Donna J. (Kendall) Jannelle, who preceded her in death. She was married to
Jeff Cox, who survives in Kokomo.
She is also survived by her sister Dawn (husband Rob) Sturgeon of LaPorte;
and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Laurie enjoyed arts and crafts, and
playing bingo.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4 at 2 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans
Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Burial will follow at Chesterton
Cemetery, Chesterton. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 4 from 1
p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. A special thank you from the family
for the care received from Seton Specialty Hospital, especially Julie, Bob
and Ellie, and St. Vincent’s Hospice.
