Chesterton resident Diana Rose Lee, 61, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at
her home.
She was born Oct. 7, 1948, in Michigan City, the daughter of Norbert and
Genevieve (Hyska) Andershock, who preceded her in death.
On Nov. 25, 1967, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, she married Thomas Lee,
who survives in Chesterton.
She is also survived by a son, Gregory (Jennifer) Lee of Chandler, Ariz.;
two daughters, Trisha (Bryant) Donnella of Porter and Lisa Lee of
Chesterton; two grandchildren, Kylee and Kaden Donnella; and a brother,
William (Elen) Andershock of North Carolina.
Diana was a Cub Scout den mother with her son, Gregory, and a leader in the
Girl Scouts with her daughter, Trisha. She chaired Diana of the Dunes, was a
member of the Parish Council at St. Patrick Catholic Church, and served as
regional manager for Sterling Management Corporation.
A celebration of Diana’s life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March
23, at the Chesterton Moose Lodge at 602 Broadway. Words of remembrance will
be spoken by Diana’s niece, Pastor Cathy Allison.
