Bonnie Jean Perrine of Lake Station passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 at her
son’s home in Burns Harbor. She was 87.
Born Sept. 21, 1922, she was the daughter of Henry and Claudia (Huddleston)
Sauter, who preceded her in death. She was married to Robert W. Perrine, who
also preceded her in death.
Bonnie is survived by her sons Mike Perrine (wife Leann) of Burns Harbor and
Stephen Perrine (Lynn) of Valparaiso; six grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her
brothers Henry, Ken, Howard and Jack and one great grandchild.
Bonnie was a homemaker and had a small knitting shop out of her home for
years, making sweaters and afghans. She was a devoted wife, a fantastic
mother and a model grandmother.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. at Edmonds &
Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Visitation will be held from
noon until the time of service at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may
