Andrew Frank Sajdera of Westville passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 at St.
Catherine Hospital in East Chicago. He was 50.
Born on July 8, 1959 in Gary, he was the son of Ervin and Lillian (Pavloff)
Sajdera. Andrew graduated from Lew Wallace High School and was currently
working as a service technician for Air Gas Corporation of Whiting. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing guitar.
Andrew is survived by his parents, Ervin and Lillian Sajdera of Valparaiso;
sons Andrew J. Sajdera (wife Gabriel) of Virginia, Frank Sajdera of Michigan
City, and Zachary Sajdera of Otis; brothers and sisters, Ervin Sajdera
(Sheila) of Crown Point, Michael Sajdera (Laura) of Kouts, Carol Douthitt
(husband Sam) of Crocker, Jean Brumley (Charles) of Wheeler, Raymond Sajdera
(Ginger) of Valparaiso, Mary Peterson (Duane) of Chesterton, Susan Greer
(John) of Chesterton, Jennifer Allen (Robert) of Valparaiso, and Edward
Sajdera (Angela) of Westville; special uncle, Felix Pavloff of Crown Point;
girlfriend Lisa Shelby of Porter; former wife Terri Sajdera of Otis; and
numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. at St. Paul
Catholic Church, 1855 Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso with Fr. Michael Hoffman
officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Valparaiso.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104
