Albert F. Brockway of Valparaiso passed away on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010 at the Valparaiso Care and Rehab. He was 59.

Born on June 4, 1950, he was the son of Francis R. and Concetta (Foresta) Brockway. He is survived by his father, Francis Brockway, of Wheatfield; brothers Robert A. Brockway (wife Carrie) of Wheatfield and Ronald Brockway (Debbie) of Valparaiso; sisters Grace Milner (husband Bill) of Porter and Elva Stineback (Jim) of Chesterton; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends at Opportunity Enterprises.

Albert was preceded in death by his mother, Concetta, and by sister Patricia Gomez.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Interment will be in Chesterton Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. www.ee-fh.com
