Chesterton resident Regina Mary Maslanka, formerly of Calumet City, Ill.,
passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010 in Valparaiso. She was 98.
Born on Sept. 19, 1911 in Harvey, Ill., she was the daughter of the late
Walter and Rose (Rosvewski) Borys. She is survived by her daughter Alvina
(husband Mark) Singer of Chesterton; sister Tillie Ahrendt of Demotte; six
grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 14 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daugher Madeline Roswalka; one brother; and
six sisters.
During her life, Regina worked for both Central Radio and Sound and Monarch
Laundry.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place
