Chesterton resident Bertha J. Nagroski passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010 in
Valparaiso. She was 87.
She was born Nov. 9, 1922 in Chicago to Edward and Mary Bilke, who preceded
her in death. She was married to Casmer Nagroski, who survives of Minnesota.
Bertha is also survived by her daughters, Paulette Long of Valparaiso and
Edie Hermanek of Plymouth, Minn.; grandchildren Ingrid Long, Erik Long,
Michael Hermanek, Morgan Johnson and David Hermanek; and great grandchildren
Phoebe Johnson, Hunter Long, Jase Long and Tabitha Hermanek.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Gertrude Johnson and Frieda
Nawracaj.
Bertha was an area resident since 1951. She was a homemaker and a member of
Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
A private graveside service will be held at Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton.
