Frances D. Wickberg of Chesterton passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at her home. She was 91.

Born March 11, 1919 in Gary, she was the daughter of John and Stpehanie (Lankovcky) Goodwill. In 1941 in Gary, she married Frank E. Wickberg, her husband of 69 years who survives.

Also surviving are children Carolyn Wickberg of Chesterton, Dennis (Martha) Wickberg of Valparaiso, Robert (Beth) Wickberg of Westville; and grandchildren Lorri Wickberg of Chesterton and Michael (Shanna) Wickberg of Lewisburg, Tenn.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sophie Kaminski and Adele Zytko, daughter-in-law Martha Wickberg, and great-granddaughter Morgan Taylor Wickberg.

She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 19, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Porter County VNA Hospice. www.ee-fh.com
