Donald J. Lee of Valparaiso, formerly of Chesterton, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 in Valparaiso. He was 88.

Born March 17, 1922 in Chicago, he was the son of Frank A. Lee and Lena May Cummings Lee, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by a sister, Juanita Coffman of Chesterton; niece Mary Coffman Long of Chesterton; many great nieces and nephews; and many great-great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois G. Lee, and a niece, Ardala Bieker. He was a 1940 graduate of Chesterton High School and a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army.

There will be no services and no funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd Street, Chesterton. For more information, call 926-1309.
