Christopher J. Romanak, age 25 of Chesterton, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010.

He was born August 30, 1984, in Merrillville, to James and Cheryl (Kemp) Romanak, who survive in Chesterton.

Christopher is also survived by his sisters, Jamie (Freddie) Rager of Westville and Carey Romanak (fiancé Colin Elliott) of Chesterton and loving uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Romanak; cousin, Tony Kinkade; Grandpa Tony and Grandma Marie Romanak and Grandma Louise Goodwin.

Christopher loved music and playing his guitar. He also enjoyed riding his four-wheeler.

Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, August 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service held at 7:00 p.m.

Cremation will take place at Heritage Crematory, Portage. Arrangements are being handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton.
