Wesley E. Weidman died February 28, 2009 in Sun City, Arizona.

He was born in Chesterton June 10, 1926 the son of Sigfred and Eva Weidman.

His wife Mary of 57 years survives in Arizona.

He is also survived by their sons, John (Elaine) of Portland, Ore., and their two children, and Glenn (Jennifer) of Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Elvera Sarver (Harold, decd.), of Mt. Vernon, Wash. and Norita Kistler (James), of Gig Harbor, Wash.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Wesley was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Chesterton resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Chesterton High School Class of 1946.

Funeral services will be held in Sun City and a memorial service will be held in Chesterton in July.
