Sheila Ann Dille, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Chesterton, passed away June
15, 2009 at Naples Community Hospital, Naples, Fla. She was 67.
She was born February 7, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, the daughter of Richard and Mary
Dorothy (Keenan), McArdle, both of whom preceded her in death.
On August 22, 1959 in Ft. Wayne she married Robert A. Dille, Jr., who
survives in Naples.
She is also survived by two sons, Robert Dille III of Chesterton and Brent
(Cheryl) Dille, of Rockford, Mich.; a daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Stalbaum of
Chesterton; grandchildren, Margaret A. Stalbaum of Chesterton/Bloomington,
Matthew R. Stalbaum of Chesterton, Cassandra A. Dille and Brent J. Dille,
both of Rockford, Mich. and three brothers, Richard McArdle of Calif., Kevin
McArdle, of S.C. and Chris McArdle of Utah and a sister Maureen McArdle of
Utah.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tamara Dille in 1962 and
grandson, Philip Jeffrey Stalbaum in 1989.
She was a graduate of Purdue North Central where she earned a degree as a
Registered Nurse. She belonged to Chesterton Junior Women’s Club and the
National Nurse Assoc. She loved to cook and watch her favorite cooking
shows.
A funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27 at St. Patrick Church,
638 N. Calumet Rd., Chesterton.
A memorial visit will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 26 at White-Love Funeral
Home, 525 S. 2nd Street, Chesterton.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
