Porter resident Anita A. Boe, 70, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at Northwestern
Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
She was born March 29, 1939, in Celeya, Mexico, the daughter of David and
Maria (Rodriguez) Mandujano.
In March 1964 she married Reno Boe, who survives in Porter.
She is also survived by three children, Robert (Irma) Rodriguez of
Merrillville, Pilar (Norman) Berman of Chesterton, and Marc Boe of Porter; a
granddaughter, Amanda of Chesterton; three siblings, Rebecca (Salvador)
Montenegro, David Rodriguez, and Ana M. (Santiago) Leal; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Elvira Rodriguez.
Anita was a member of the Catholic Church, a homemaker, and a loving mother
and grandmother.
Funeral services, Father James Meade officiating, are scheduled for 7:30
p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. Second St. in
Chesterton, with cremation to follow.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. Thursday until the time of the
service.
