Rosemary (Schaefer) McGrogan, 96, Fishers, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Hearth at Windemere in Fishers. She was born September 24, 1912 in Berlin, Wisconsin to Joseph Gordon and Magdalena (Lambert) Schaefer.

She is survived by daughter, Donna (Peter) Gollmer of McCordsville; son, William (Arlene) McGrogan of Chesterton, IN; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William McGrogan; son, John McGrogan and daughters, Joann Rist and Mary Kay Young.

Rosemary was an elementary school teacher in the Speedway school system. She was a member of St. Louis deMontfort Catholic Church in Fishers. Other memberships include: St. Ann's Guild, Knights of Columbus - St. Pius Council, Kings Court at Christ the King, Cape Cod Village Lunch Group and Legion of Mary at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 19, at St. Louis deMontfort Catholic Church in Fishers, with Rev. Phillip Haslinger officiating. Friends may call Thursday, June 18, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Randall and Roberts Fishers Mortuary. Burial will be at Calvary-Holy Cross St. Joseph Cemetery in Indianapolis.
