Ronald A. Trial, Age 59, of Porter, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2009.

He was a lifelong northwest Indiana resident, born in Gary, February 11, 1950 the son of Armand and Viola (Thomas) Trial, both of whom preceded him in death.

On July 15, 1968 he married Laura Warren, who survives in Porter.

He is also survived by sons, Anthony (Christen) Trial of Chesterton, and Daniel (Cammy) Trial of LaPorte; brothers, Thomas (Jeanette) Trial of Lake Station, and David (Karen) Trial of Portage; sisters, Shirley (Steve) Larson of Parma, Mich. and Donna Saylor of Portage; two grandchildren, Morgan and Alexis Trial and two step-grandchildren, Jamie and Alec Burns.

He is also preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Rosendaul.

Ronald graduated from River Forest High School. He retired in 2002 from USS Gary Works.

Funeral Services, Rev. Robert Stroup officiating, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 17 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. Interment will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
