Robert Alan Ingram dies at 54

Robert Alan Ingram, 54 of Chesterton/Valparaiso passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso.

He was born on March 4, 1955 in Middletown, Ohio the son of Vernon and Kathryn (Cunningham) Ingram. His mother survives in Valparaiso. His father preceded him in death.

On August 29, 1987 in Middletown, Ohio he married Beth Miller who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Lauren E. and Julia N. Ingram both of Valparaiso.

Robert graduated from Middletown High School, Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and received his law degree from Ohio State School of Law. He was a self employed lawyer, a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, Valparaiso, Chesterton Rotary, former Jaycee, member of the Ohio Bar Association, Phi Beta Kappa, former board member of the Porter County American Red Cross, and the American Radio Relay League.

Funeral Service, Rev. David Kovalow of St. John officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 12 at the First Christian Church DOC 1507 Glendale Blvd, Valparaiso. Interment will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso.
