Melody Fay Mitchell (Cutright), 49, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday,
February 22, 2009.
She was born January 12, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Don and
Jacci Cutright, both of whom survive in Valparaiso.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Mitchell of Valparaiso.
She is also survived by a brother, David (Kim) Cutright of Springbranch,
Texas; a sister, Diana (Randy) Mockler of Valparaiso; a step-daughter, Dana
(Tom) Vernon of Hobart; step-grandchildren, Owen Vernon and Rocky Vernon;
mother-in-law, Eileen Mitchell, of Chesterton; nephew, Jeffree Cutright and
niece Jaimee Cutright of Springbranch, Texas; sister-in-law, Becky (Lee)
Children and brother-in-law Fred (Karen) Mitchell of Valparaiso.
Her father-in-law Rex Mitchell preceded her in death.
Melody was a graduate of Boon Grove High and was class president.
A
memorial gathering will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, February 28 at Bartholomew
Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St., Valparaiso.
