Mark A. Wiesemann, of Greenwood, formerly of Chesterton, passed away
suddenly Monday, March 2, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. He was
27.
He was born January 31, 1982 in Merrillville, the son of Jeff and Jean
(Bradford) Wiesemann, of Jackson Twp.
Mark is survived by his loving wife Danielle (Blea) Wiesemann of Greenwood,
whom he met in college and married June 25, 2005.
He is also survived by a sister, Melissa and a brother, Eric Wiesemann, both
of Jackson Twp; mother- and father-in law, David and Gwen Blea, of Goshen;
grandparents, Denis and Lois (Fancher) Wiesemann of Chesterton, William E.
and Joan Bradford of Valparaiso; numerous sisters- and brothers-in-law,
aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Margaret A. (Boi) Wiesemann in
1997.
Mark attended St. Patrick’s School through the sixth grade and graduated
from Chesterton High School in 2000. He graduated from IU Bloomington with a
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dec. 2004. He was employed at Chase Bank of
Indianapolis. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was
active with the pug rescue in Greenwood, and enjoyed the four pugs he and
Danielle rescued. He had a contagious laugh, memorable smile and gorgeous
blue eyes. Even though he has left this earth, he will be in our hearts and
souls. He will never be forgotten but forever remembered as a loving
husband, great older brother and adoring son.
Funeral services, Fr. James Meade and Pastor Ron Diener officiating, will be
at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7 from St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N.
Calumet Rd. Interment will follow at Chesterton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 6 at White-Love
Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
