James L. Williams, age 78, of Crown Point, formerly of Gary, IN passed away
on Monday, July 6, 2009.
He was a retired building engineer for Sears, Roebuck and after retirement
he enjoyed traveling with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred L. Williams, his mother, Irene
M. Williams, and brother, Fred R. Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne (nee LaBarr) Williams, four sons,
Lawrence (Claire) Williams, of Chesterton, Terry (Darlene) Williams, Patrick
(Becky) Williams, and David (Emily) Williams; one brother, Robert Williams;
eight grandchildren, Timothy, Brooke, James, Matthew, Monica, Emily, Deana
and Stephanie and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Funeral services are private.
Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, is in charge of
arrangements.
