Donald E. Coslet, age 66, of Chesterton, passed away on
Wednesday, January 7, 2009 following a long illness.
Don was born March 31, 1942 in Chesterton, the son of William
and Ethel (Sievert) Coslet both of whom preceded him in death.
On February 7, 1981 Donald married Linda (Cleveland) Coslet
who survives in Chesterton.
He is also survived by his son, Mike Cleveland of Porter; one
brother, Daniel (Cindy) Coslet of Pa.; and four sisters, Donna (Dave) Scott
of S. C., Deborah (William) Robertson of S. C., Diana Diakas of LaPorte, and
Delores Sutton of Portage; and many much loved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Heather Rose Coslet
and four brothers William “Billy”, Carl Richard, Charles Kent and most
recently David B. Coslet. Donald graduated from Chesterton High School class
of 1961 and worked at Midwest Steel for 37 years. He loved God, his family,
his church family and his friends. He will be remembered and missed by many.
He was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church.
A funeral service, Dr. Roger Voegtlin officiating, will be at
1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at Fairhaven Baptist Church, 86 E. Oak Hill Rd.,
Chesterton.
There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may
