Porter resident Dawnmarie Lynn Comer passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at her residence. She was 36.

Born on June 6, 1973 in Valparaiso, she was the daughter of Weldon L. and Bonnie D. (Masterton) Coslet. Dawnmarie was a homemaker and a member of Porter United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her father, Weldon “Peanut” Coslet of Porter and mother Bonnie Pruitt of Westville; daughters Tanaya Comer and Cheyanne Comer of Porter; brother Anthony Coslet (wife Kristen) of Chesterton; several aunts and uncles; and nephews Michael, Josh, Jacob and Jonathan.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents G.P. Thomas and Lucille Masterton and paternal grandparents Russel and Thelma Coslet.

There will be no services. Cremation will be at the Heritage Crematory in Portage. Memorials may be made to the Porter County Cancer Society. Arrangements were under the direction of the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton. www.ee-fh.com
