Chesterton resident Danny Marodi died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009 at Porter Hospital Valparaiso Campus. He was 55.

Born Dec. 23, 1953 in Washington, Penn., he was the son of Charles Marodi of Marianna, Penn. and the late Viola Doty Marodi. On April 20, 1974 at Saints Mary and Ann Church, Marianna, Penn., he married Paula J. Westich Marodi, who survives.

Also surviving are his daughter, Danielle, and son, Aaron, both at home; sister Vickie Knizner (husband Frank) and brothers Alex Marodi (wife Annette) and Tim Marodi (wife Randi), all of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

He was employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Burns Harbor plant, where he worked as a project manager.
