Thomas M. Martin, of Portage, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008 at St. Mary Medical Center, Hobart. He was 47.

He was born Aug. 6, 1960 in LaPorte, the son of Eugene E. Martin, Sr. and Vivian E. (Goodson) Martin, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary (Marciniak) Martin, of Portage.

He is also survived by a son, Anthony (Amanda Hindsley) Martin, of LaPorte; two daughters, Julie Kelly, of Hobart and Denise Kelly, of Merrillville; two grandchildren, Max and Regina; a brother, Kevin (Carol) Martin of Westville and two sisters, Cynthia (Richard) Rodgers of Kingsford Heights and Kimberly Largen of Washington State.

Tom was an auto salesman.

Funeral services, Pastor Brandon G. Martin officiating, will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.

The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until time of service at White-Love Funeral Home.
