Rosemarie M. Draves age 74 of Chesterton, passed away on Saturday December 13, 2008 at Porter Hospital, Valparaiso.

She was born in Chicago, January 26, 1934 the daughter of William F. and Rose T. (Kappel) Varnak.

In 1951, she married Donald Draves, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by sons Donald M. (Kerri) Draves of Chesterton, Robert Draves of Fla. and Thomas (Dee) Draves of Boise, Idaho; daughter Susan Draves of Bremmington, Ind.; brother Thomas (Jackie) Varnak of Monee, Ill.; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, and brothers William and Richard Varnak.

Rosemarie worked in maintenance at the Porter County Courthouse, retiring in 1999. Rosemarie was involved in the Porter County Cancer Society and was a volunteer at the Duneland Resale Shop.

No services are planned. Cremation will be at Heritage Crematory, Portage. Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.ee-fh.com
