Robert Lee Crk dies at 63

Robert Lee Crk, of Plummer, Minn., formerly of Westville, passed away Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at his home. He was 63.

He was born April 10, 1944 in Valparaiso, the son of Jerry and Grace (Hineline) Crk. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives.

He is also survived by three sisters, Mary (Gerald) Miller of Valparaiso, Nancy (Galen) Armstrong of Westville and Sandra (Richard) Patterson of Chesterton; one aunt, Bessie Biehl of LaPorte; one uncle, George Crk of LaPorte; three nieces; one nephew and several cousins.

He was also preceded in death by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Robert graduated from Westville High School in 1962. He retired as a machinist from American Crystal Sugar Company in Crookston, Minn., in 2006, after 32 years of service. Robert was a member of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

A funeral service, Pastor Bob Nienhuis officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14 at Newhard Funeral Home, Westville. Interment will be in Westville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
