Nancy M. Wilmsen dies at 46

Nancy M. Wilmsen, of Chesterton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008 at her home. She was 46.

She was born Nov. 4, 1961 in Hauterive, PQ Canada.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Wilmsen, of Chesterton.

She is also survived by two sons, Eric Martin Wilmsen and Scott Joseph Wilmsen, both at home; four daughters, Ann Elizabeth Wilmsen, Sara Marguerite Wilmsen, Abigail Marie Wilmsen and Emily Rose Wilmsen, all at home; parents, Robert and Alberta Berube, of Portage and three sisters, Lise (David) Plotzke, of Ariz., Janet (Dave) Tipold, of Hobart and Jane (Craig) Aczinowicz, of St. Louis.

Nancy was a member of New Life Wesleyan Church in Chesterton, a member of Faithful Friends women’s group of the Church. She received her degree in elementary education. Her hobbies included spinning and weaving, journaling and she enjoyed gardening.

Funeral services, Pastor Mike Cloud officiating, will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at New Life Wesleyan Church, 75 E 1100N, Chesterton.

The family will receive fiends Tuesday from 3 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. at New Life Wesleyan Church.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of memorials to an educational fund being established for her children.

Arrangements are under the direction of White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton.
